Hi there, I'm Jess and I've decided to start writing a blog.
I didn't get into blogging or Twitter back in the day. I often felt I didn't have much of consequence to say. It can feel a bit silly, writing into a void that doesn't answer back, or more scarily that sometimes can. I remember hearing about celebrities and ordinary folks alike getting into trouble for ill-thought tweets. It seemed safer, and perhaps wiser, to steer clear. Who needs the aggravation?
Yet here I am writing a blog that will probably not get any views except my own. Maybe it's pointless, but I like that. There's something nice about getting your voice out there even if nobody hears it. This can be my own little journal where I can jot my thoughts and send them out into the ether. Proof that I exist, for a little while at least.
